My first piece for Metro is now live

Earlier this month, news broke about UK-based startup DAME and their reusable tampon applicator. After joining the discussion about this product online I noticed many couldn’t understand the need for such an item, so I wrote about why I think it’s a good idea for Metro.

I’m A Part of Ashley James’ Latest égaliTEE Campaign

I am so excited to announce my involvement with Ashley James’ new égaliTEE collection.

This collection features 6 designs (all available in black, white or red) with period-positive slogans. 10% of the profits go to Habitat For Humanity, which work to empower young women in India & help them get access to sanitary items and conditions.

I’ve been named Eve’s First Queen Of The Month

It’s no secret that Eve by Glow is one of my favourite period-related companies, I’m always recommending their app.

My Response to Mensez Has Gone Viral

A  chiropractor has attempted to patent a way for women to ‘stop menstrual leaking’. The idea manifests in a form of a lipstick that essentially allows you to ‘glue’ your vulva shut. I, of course, had a lot to say about this!

I wrote a post about why this is a ridiculous, sexist and quite frankly dangerous idea for a product. My response has gone viral on Twitter and my tweets have even been included in a post on Cosmopolitan.



I Spoke To VICE About Sadiq Khan’s Decision To Ban Body Shaming Media

Earlier this month, the Mayor of London announced his decision to ban ads that make people feel ashamed about their bodies. Explaining the reasoning behind this, Khan said: “As the father of two teenage girls, I am extremely concerned about this kind of advertising, which can demean people, particularly women, and make them ashamed of their bodies. It is high time it came to an end. Nobody should feel pressurised, while they travel on the Tube or bus, into unrealistic expectations surrounding their bodies, and I want to send a clear message to the advertising industry about this.”
